Preview, Deployed & Published

Intermediate

When you open an app, a small switcher at the top of the preview lets you choose what you're looking at. Each button shows a different version of your app — here's what they mean.

The switcher as it appears at the top of your app preview.

Preview

Preview shows your current changes — exactly what the assistant is building right now, updating live as it works. It's your private workspace: only you see it while you iterate.

Use it to watch each change land the moment you send a message. Nothing here is shared with anyone until you choose to deploy or publish it.

Deployed (branch URL)

This is the version currently being deployed for the branch you're working on. It has its own shareable link so you can test the latest build in a real browser tab — and send that link to others to try it out and confirm everything works.

The button shows the branch name and a small status icon while a build is in progress. You can turn this shareable link on or off at any time without losing your work.

Published

Published is your app's live, public version — the one your visitors see at its real address. It only changes when you press Publish, so what's live stays stable while you keep experimenting in Preview.

Publishing is available on paid plans. Until you publish, this button stays greyed out and your live site is unaffected by your in-progress changes.
